With over 100 major profiles, it offers insights into common career paths, the kinds of employers active in each field, and strategies for optimizing your job prospects. Additionally, it provides links to professional organizations, outlook data for occupations, and job hunting tools.

Vault is a comprehensive career resource that includes industry and profession overviews; rankings and profiles for employers and internship programs; career articles, blogs and videos; sample resumes and cover letters; and an online library.

Handshake is the Career and Professional Development Center’s primary system for online recruiting, accessing employer profiles, and job/internship postings. In addition, student’s can register for and access professional development workshops, networking events, career fairs, and interview sessions.

The system includes a mock interview practice and recording tool as well as an AI feature that provides immediate feedback and a personalized action plan. The Pittsburgh Business Times provides access to the latest news about Pittsburgh businesses, Best Places to Work rankings, the Book of Lists, and more! The Book of Lists features listings of the hottest area companies by field and ranking and is a great resource to research companies and organizations in Pittsburgh.
