Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training 30 Min
This training is intended to cover the contents of RMU’s Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Policy (SM 1.9) and meet the requirements of the OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.132. As noted in 29 CFR 1910.132(f) (1), the employer shall provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use PPE.
The training should be completed before performing work requiring the use of PPE, when changes in the workplace or type(s) of PPE to be used render previous training obsolete, or when inadequacies in an employee's knowledge, use of assigned PPE indicate that the employee has not retained the requisite understanding or skill, or when Safety Department or Supervisor deems necessary.
