Who We Are and What We Do

The VA DME Internship Program is a subset of the Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS) program, which allows US college students across the world to work on projects that advance the federal government’s work on many fronts. The DME Interns Team gives students the chance to participate in a virtual internship with the Department of Veterans Affairs. This means they can gain federal experience and references while balancing their course loads and lives by working remotely.
 

DME Interns use creative communication channels to allow the federal government to better reach Veterans. We also assist in areas such as graphic design, writing, editing, web development, human resources, social media analytics, accessibility, transcription, comment moderation, research, podcast production, and a host of other activities.
