Robert Morris University (RMU) proudly announces that its most recent cohorts of nursing graduates have achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). RMU Nursing Graduates Achieve 100% NCLEX-RN Pass Rate, Demonstrating the University’s Leadership in Career Preparation

RMU’s nursing program is built on a strong foundation of natural and behavioral sciences along with professional courses to equip students with both the technical expertise and the clinical judgment necessary for today’s complex healthcare environments. In addition to academic coursework, RMU nursing students gain valuable hands-on experience through clinical rotations in hospitals and community settings, and its RISE Center, preparing them to succeed in the constantly evolving healthcare industry.

RMU’s Regional Research and Innovation in Simulation Education (RISE) Center housed in the School of Health Professions is a significant driver of the university’s success in nursing education.  This state-of-the-art facility is one of only a few freestanding nursing programs globally accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, highlighting RMU’s leadership in experiential learning.

The RISE Center’s 5,000-square-foot facility features four simulated hospital rooms, two exam rooms, a skills lab with hospital beds, and a home health suite, allowing students to gain realistic, hands-on clinical experiences in a controlled environment. Through partnerships with standardized patients and faculty experts in simulation, RMU ensures its nursing students receive the highest quality preparation for real-world healthcare settings.

While the center plays a pivotal role in the success of RMU’s nursing program, its applications extend far beyond healthcare.  Through the use of cutting-edge simulation techniques, RMU is pioneering innovative educational practices that prepare students for real-world challenges across a wide range of disciplines. The RISE Center’s impact is felt not only in the health sciences but also in equipping students with the critical skills necessary for success in fields where experiential learning and practical application are essential.

Dr. Nadine Englert, Dean of the RMU School of Health Professions, expressed her pride in the graduates’ achievement and the university’s commitment to addressing critical healthcare needs in the region and beyond:

“We are incredibly proud of our nursing graduates for their outstanding performance on the NCLEX-RN exam. Their achievement comes at a pivotal moment for healthcare, both regionally and nationwide. Our commitment to developing nurses who are not only clinically skilled but also prepared to lead in a changing healthcare landscape is at the heart of our success, and we are confident that our graduates are prepared for whatever challenges lie ahead.”
