This certificate program provides students with a thorough introduction to the world of data analytics. The certificate can be offered as a standalone program, or it can also be stackable with several Graduate programs such as MS Data Analytics or MBA.

Through this program, graduates will:

• Understand the basics of the information systems that allow for effective decision making, increased employee productivity and optimal service of an organization's information needs.
• Develop basic programming skills in one or more languages utilized in data analytics, such as Python or R.
• Develop and apply common data analytics models and interpret their results.
• Suggest the tools that will assist in effectively leveraging information and gaining the best return on investment from an organization's information systems
• Make recommendations on the use of data analytics tools to gain a strategic competitive advantage by using information to make better business decisions.
