The education minor gives students an opportunity to get an overview of the educational system including the foundations of general and special education, educational psychology and technology. This minor complements any major that has a teaching or training component such as psychology or business.

If you minor in either education or special education you will be required to complete field experience hours in a variety of school settings. In order to visit public and private schools you must have three (3) completed and updated criminal clearances. Printed information regarding which clearances are necessary and how to obtain them can be located in the reception area of 2nd floor Wheatley or the Education office, 237 Wheatley.
