Oben Njock

Ofuboche (Oben) Njock

Ofuboche (Oben) Njock is a junior Mechanical Engineering Major. He describes himself as being an optimistic, hardworking, and kind individual. Much to his field of study, Oben prides himself in his ability to adapt to his ever-changing environment and in so doing, increase his abilities and skill levels. Many of his peers consider Oben a social butterfly, as one of his skills is being able to have a conversation with anyone. His charisma has afforded many to refer to him as “Obizzza,” which is also the name of his on-campus hair studio, Obizzza Cuts. Finally, his main objectives with every interaction are to put a smile on their face and to make their day brighter.

Kyle Le

Kyle Le

Kyle Le is a sophomore Nursing major who is also pursuing his own photography business, Kyle Le Captures. With events such as weddings, sports, and corporate events, he has been a photographer for nearly a decade, but his growth in the business has been quite recent. Kyle is part of RMU’s social media team, which has afforded him recognition from various students, faculty, and staff members. As a result, Kyle sits on the Concierge Team for RMU School of Nursing. Along with his photography, Kyle prides himself in his academics, and consequently does very well in his classes. Outside of academics, Kyle is active in activities such as RMU Men's Club Volleyball, music making, and playing video games. Rooted in his faith in Jesus, he wants to use his outgoing personality and his talents and spontaneous nature as a way to constantly serve and spend time with others. Throughout the Rockwell Fellowship, Kyle anticipates taking his photography business to the next level, accompanied by his initiative to take on every opportunity presented to him. Kyle says: “If you see me around, feel free to say hi–that is, if I didn't already come up to you first!”

Trevor Colberg

Trevor Colberg

Trevor Colberg is a sophomore Business Management major at Robert Morris University. Prior to attending RMU, he played junior hockey in multiple leagues overseas–including Germany, Poland, and Finland–and finished his career in Decatur, Illinois.One of Trevor’s favorite pastimes is traveling to different parts of the world to learn about new cultures and languages (primarily Russian), try new things, and see different places. As for academia, Trevor loves learning and reading about business, and works persistently towards his academic and athletic goals. Outside of the classroom,his activities include going to the gym, ice hockey, working, and spending time with his friends. This year, he anticipates learning and helping others achieve their goals, along with meeting new people and making new friends.

Kyler Bender

Kyler Bender

Kyler Bender is a junior Finance major at Robert Morris University. His pride and joy is Game Rogue, LLC, which is a leading esports platform and independent tournament organizer. Over the course of his business thus far, Kyler has created 8 full-time jobs, 3 of which being international, and has given over $6,000+ in internship-college credit to esports or sports management majors during the summer of 2023. Further, he has raised over $40,000 to fund his start-up and has retained 100% equity at Game Rogue. Within the first year, Game Rogue has grown to become one of the largest independent organizers of online esports tournaments in the country and currently has over 50,000 active users on the Game Rogue site. To date, Game Rogue, LLC has paid out over $25,000 in prize-pools and has worked with big name brands such as Red Bull.

Julia Casaldi

Julia Casaldi

Julia Casaldi is a junior Marketing major with a minor in advertising, the Certificate in Sales, and the Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Her roles on campus include being the Co-President for RMU’s American Marketing Association, VP of Administration for RMU Pi Sigma Epsilon, a mentor for the First-Year Seminar Program, a Colonial Ambassador, and a member in the RMU Honors Program. During the summer of 2023, Julia worked as a Marketing Intern for Fort Pitt Capital Group in Pittsburgh. During her studies at RMU, she anticipates expanding her knowledge for the various subjects in business that interest her. Outside of academia, Julia enjoys her newfound hobby, photography. Additionally, her other interests include shopping and traveling when given the opportunity. For instance, her involvement in various campus activities allowed her to attend the AMA International Collegiate Conference in New Orleans in the Spring of 2023 and the PSE Leadership Conference in Milwaukee the Summer of 2023. As for the Rockwell Fellowship, Julia is thrilled to be a member and anticipates growing professionally and experiencing new opportunities with her cohort.

Savannah Legnine

Savanah Legnine

Savanah Legnine is a junior Management major and is a candidate for certificates in sales and entrepreneurship and innovation. She is planning to enroll in the 4+1 plan as well, where she will have the opportunity to obtain her MBA with a specialization in Project Management. Beyond academic pursuits, Savanah is very engaged in campus life. She plays an active role in various clubs, including Pi Sigma Epsilon, the Outdoor Adventure Club, President of ENACTUS, and VP of Membership for the American Marketing Association. Savanah takes special pride in being an RMU global ambassador, where she assists international students in making the most of their college experience. Additionally, she has a job with the Boys and Girls Club–a non-profit organization that provides free programs and support to younger students. As a member of the Rockwell Fellowship, she anticipates developing her entrepreneurial skills so that she can help develop a program for youth in the Boys and Girls club that desire to participate in sports.

Nevaeh Delaney

Nevaeh Delaney

Nevaeh Delaney is a sophomore Finance Major, who anticipates a career in financial advising. Her favorite pastime includes spending her time with her daughter, Kamora, as well as other family members. Her entrepreneurial journey began during the Pandemic in 2020, and since then, she has continued the journey. She offers braiding services, and anticipates expansion into a women’s boutique specializing in empowering women. Fueled by her belief that having multiple streams of income is important, Nevaeh also wants to implement an online business that highlights the importance of writing information down and reviewing it for later use–journaling, budgeting, and planning, for some examples. For this portion of her business plan, she will create personalized journals and books that help people manage their lives and maintain organization.

Brynlyn Berkey

Brynlyn Berkey

Brynlyn Berkey is a junior Marketing major, attaining Certificates in Sales and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Like many of our fellows, she greatly enjoys engaging in campus activities, which for her include Vice President of Professional Development for RMU American Marketing Association, Director of Communications for Student Government Association, and Director of Print Marketing for Women in Business. Additionally, she is a member of the Women’s Leadership & Mentorship Program and the Honors Program at RMU. During the summer of 2023, Brynlyn gained professional experience as a Purchasing Intern at Martin-Baker America, Inc. in Johnstown, PA and as the overseer of operations at Annalynn Boutique, a small business located in Ligonier, PA. As such, she is passionate about expanding her knowledge of the business world and building a strong network of diverse individuals. Beyond academia, Brynlyn finds joy in playing the violin and enthusiastically embraces new creative projects, whether they involve crafts, such as pottery, or portrait drawing. Brynlyn is ecstatic to be part of the Rockwell Fellowship, where she aims to further her professional growth and explore fresh opportunities alongside her peers.

A’janae Monroe

A’janae Monroe

A’janae Monroe is a sophomore Marketing major in pursuit of certificates in Sales and Entrepreneurship & Innovation certificates. The two primary factors in selecting marketing as her field of study are customer engagement and business networking. She is a member of the following organizations at RMU: Black Student Union (BSU), The National Society of Leadership and Success, Honors Program, Honors Student Advisory Council, Enactus, and American Marketing Association (AMA). A’janae aspires to become a business owner of an event planning studio and a salon and anticipates the Rockwell Fellowship will provide her with the skills needed to make her dream a reality. She makes a special note that becoming a member of campus organizations helped her realize, “All the late nights, hard work, confusion, and tears really do pay off in the end, as long as you have the drive to make it happen!” Post-graduation, A’janae plans to work in her industry for three years before establishing her own business.

Matthew Casaldi

Matthew Casaldi

Matthew Casaldi originates from Bethel Park, located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is a senior Finance major in pursuit of the certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, expected to graduate in May 2024. His special interests in the field are in capital markets and strategic finance. As such, to accompany his studies at Robert Morris, he is currently in pursuit of the Chartered Financial Analyst charter, which will provide additional career opportunities and credentials. In addition, Matt hopes to leverage his career post-graduation to complete the charter. An interesting fact about Matthew is that he is a licensed private pilot. This permits him to fly small general aviation aircraft that are propeller-driven. Through the Rockwell Fellowship, he anticipates researching the flight tour market of Pittsburgh to discover whether his pilot license will be of good use here. Finally, one of Matthew’s favorite pastimes is golfing. Thus, outside of the classroom and work, you will likely find him on the golf course.

Jasmine Majors

Jasmine Majors

Jasmine Majors is a second-semester junior, majoring in Sport Management. Like many in her cohort, she is also pursuing certificates in Sales and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Jasmine describes herself as “the warm hug needed on a cold day,” as many have commented on her ability to change the atmosphere with her smile–beginning when she was 15 years old with an usher at her church. At the age of 17, Jasmine began working at her first marketing agency, and consequently, the knowledge she has gained in Digital Marketing has made her marketable in business and on social media. For instance, she has obtained over 200,000 followers on TikTok. Jasmine prides herself in her ability to offer fresh, creative, and innovative ideas, and she would love to be a Social Media Strategist for any national team.
