RMU SEMS Receives University-Wide Benedum Grant
The School of Engineering, Math & Sciences is pleased to announce that we have has received a $250,000 2-Year Grant from the Benedum Foundation to support the growing need for STEM & Healthcare development in the region.
The School of Engineering, Math & Science has received a $250,000 Two-Year Grant from the Benedum Foundation to support the growing need for STEM & Healthcare development in the region. For this grant SEMS has partnered with colleagues in both the Communication and Education departments.
Grant funding will be used to develop modules in additive manufacturing & epidemiology along with soft skill development, as advised by industry. A total of three high schools in PA & WV have been selected to incorporate modules into their curriculum and to create pipelines into RMU enrollment. Additionally, the grant will provide scholarship money for participating students.
