The B.S. and B.A. degree programs in Interdisciplinary Studies are designed for students wishing to take courses in a broad range of interconnected disciplines. Flexible requirements make it ideal for transfers, degree completion candidates, and students who prefer to design programs of study that meet their individual needs.

At the heart of the Interdisciplinary Studies degree program are three 15-credit thematic units of study, selected by each student in consultation with their academic advisor. Thematic units are upper division and developed around a theme, such as Law and Forensics, Environment, or Service, followed by a capstone course. Both B.S. and B.A. degree options are available as either full-time or part-time courses of study for maximum flexibility.
