We originally met in high school. He was the cute guy in the hallways that always smiled and said hi to me. A couple of years after graduation, we both worked for the same clothing company in the mall. We became friends on Facebook. I finally got the courage to message him. During the course of the conversation, I told Andrew that I attended RMU, and I was getting ready to go see a musical with my theatre friends. He said he attended Robert Morris University as well for graduate school.
We dated for three years before he proposed in 2014. We were married on my birthday, October 24, 2015.
Andrew says he would not be where he is today without RMU's competitive intelligence systems program. Dr. Wood helped him land a new job.
For me, RMU was the first campus I visited with my parents, and it was the last campus. I had my heart set on RMU from the moment I stepped onto the walkway of Nicholson Lawn. Currently, I am a graduate intern in the office of student activities and leadership development, and I also assist the athletics department with various events and programs. Andrew and I love to attend RMU basketball and football games. Go Colonials!
