“Adam and I met through a mutual friend named Tony during my freshman year. Adam and Tony played ice hockey together for RMU. Adam and I first met outside of Hale Center between classes by the dogwood tree (we now refer to this as "our tree"). One day in November 2000, I was sitting in the cafeteria and Adam came up to say hello. We both saw a flier for the annual Snowball Dance, and I said I thought it looked like it might be fun. He asked me if I wanted to go with him, and I said yes. Shortly thereafter, we started dating. We’ve been together for 20 years, 15 of those years married, and we have two beautiful kids. We are truly college sweethearts!”
