James is from Maryland and I’m from Scranton, and we met the year I graduated. We were shocked that on such a small campus, we never had run into one another. James played lacrosse and I ran track and cross country, and apparently those worlds don’t collide often!

We met at a wedding – his teammate was marrying my friend from Bible study in Campus Ministries. After that wedding we spent the next year falling in love. We got married in 2015. Since then we bought our dream home, and I work as a therapist in private practice and teach part time at RMU while James works in IT at Dick’s Sporting Goods. We spend our free time running marathons, fishing, traveling the world, and hanging out with our two puppies.

RMU will always feel like home to both of us. If we didn’t both go there, our paths would have never crossed. Thanks RMU!
