Sophomore year I lived in Washington Tower A5 with my softball teammates, and Mike lived in A3 with his football teammates. I returned back from class and everyone was telling me our GA’s cousin lived below us, so we all went to check this guy out. It ended up being Mike.
Our two suites became really good friends that year, and all 20 of us would do almost everything together. I knew Mike was the one when I saw he had an Ichiro poster up on his wall in his bedroom (I am from Seattle). We hit it off, and before we knew it our two friends changed our status on Facebook to “in a relationship.” And you know when it goes on Facebook it’s official.

Fast forward to July 19, 2019, where we were married in front of our closest friends and family out in Washington. And yes, several people from A5 and A3 were there. RMU will hold a special spot in our hearts because that is where we met. In fact, we still reside in Moon Township where it all began.
