Data Analytics M.S.

The M.S. in Data Analytics extends the concepts in systems analysis and information systems management to the tools, concepts, and processes used to collect, analyze, store, and support organizational decisions from external information sources. Taught by experienced faculty, the program gives students actionable insight that provides a real competitive advantage in a data-driven world.

Cybersecurity M.S.

Develop high-level technical and management knowledge and skills needed to protect cyber infrastructure and information assets.

The growing number of cyberattacks on national and organizational information technology infrastructures highlight the rapidly growing demand for professionally trained experts of cybersecurity. The program is designed to prepare students for new careers in cybersecurity and working as professionals in the field to further advance their professional success.

Join us virtually to learn about the Ph.D in Information Systems and Communication. Our Program Director will explain how this three-year program is designed to meet the needs of IT and communications professionals.

We will be talking about program requirements, degree progression and alumni outcomes. There will also be time at the end for questions.

Mathematics B.S. (Financial Mathematics)

The B.S. in Mathematics with a concentration in Financial Mathematics prepares graduates for a wide variety of careers in the financial services industry and other jobs requiring a combination of strong financial and quantitative skills. Faculty members are specialists in their areas of expertise, and all have related work experience as practitioners in the field, giving students a competitive edge in their careers.

Statistics and Data Science B.S.

The B.S. in Statistics and Data Science prepares students for a rewarding career as a data scientist or statistician. Organizations in all fields utilize large data sets to help them make important decisions. For example, pharmaceutical companies analyze data in the process of developing and testing new drugs, retailers analyze consumer spending patterns to decide what products to sell and to better target their marketing efforts, and pro sports teams use predictive analytics to evaluate players’ value and optimize their performance.

Data Analytics B.S.

The B.S. in Data Analytics degree program focuses on the collection, analysis, application, and management of data to make better decisions. The program focuses on creating and managing information systems in ways that promote effective decision making, increased employee productivity, and optimal service of an organization's information needs. Students gain the actionable insight that will provide real competitive advantage in a data-driven world. With the 4+1 integrated degree program, students can go on to earn their M.S. in Data Analytics with only one additional year of study.

Cybersecurity B.S.

Protect critical cyber infrastructure and digital assets by detecting, deterring, and defeating cyber threats.

The B.S. in Cybersecurity program at RMU prepares you to meet a growing need for skilled cybersecurity professionals in both public and private sector organizations. An unprecedented increase in cyber threats has increased the demand for cyber security and is leading to a critical shortage of qualified professionals.

Design, analyze, operate and manage information systems so that decision makers have the information they need at their fingertips.

Computer information systems analyze an organization’s computer needs, finding ways to gather, construct, and transmit information efficiently and safely in the organization’s computer networks. The B.S. in Computer Information Systems focuses on using technology to manage information in a business context.
