The Doctor of Nursing Practice Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner track offers specialized doctoral-level training for Registered Nurses who have a bachelor’s degree to become a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. The D.N.P. PMHNP program emphasizes clinical reasoning at the highest level, preparing graduates to be nursing leaders who deliver patient-centered care as members of interdisciplinary teams emphasizing evidence-based practice, quality improvement and informatics.
The M.S.N./M.B.A. dual degree combines graduate programs from the CCNE-accredited School of Nursing and AACSB-accredited School of Business into a unique online combined curriculum. Curriculum includes nursing leadership and management as well as core business education including finance and accounting and analytical models. The combined 51-credit curriculum, taught online in 8-week accelerated format, allows students to earn two degrees with 15 fewer credits than would be required taking both graduate programs individually.
The post-masters psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner graduate certificate provides candidates with the educational foundation to diagnose and manage individuals of all ages experiencing psychiatric diagnoses.
